Mindful Craft Workshop:A workplace wellbeing experience focused on stress reduction, creativity, and connection through natural materials.

€800.00

About the Workshop

I offer corporate wellbeing workshops based on mindful, craft-led practices using natural fibres and thread.

Rather than focusing on a single technique, these sessions explore different forms of thread-based crafting - including knitting, crochet, simple weaving, and beading - depending on the group and context.

Participants work with carefully selected natural materials such as merino wool, Kerry wool, silk, and mohair, occasionally incorporating beads and mixed fibres.

The workshop invites participants to slow down, engage their hands, and reconnect with materials in a tactile, intentional way.

Format

Duration
1.5 – 2 hours

Group size
10 – 15 participants

Outcomes

Participants leave with:

  • A handmade object created with natural fibres

  • A sense of relaxation and mental clarity

  • A deeper connection to materials and process

  • An introduction to mindful, hands-on creative practices

Approach

The emphasis is placed on:

  • Process-led making rather than fixed outcomes

  • A gentle, open approach to creativity

  • Hands-on engagement with natural materials

  • The presence of craft traditions and cultural context

The experience unfolds at a calm pace, inviting attention, focus, and tactile awareness.

Context

This type of experience sits within a broader shift toward more tactile, grounded, and process-oriented activities in contemporary work environments.

Working with the hands, particularly with natural fibres, introduces a different rhythm - slower, repetitive, and materially engaging.

Within this setting, participants are invited to:

  • Engage in a shared, quiet activity

  • Experience a more sensory and embodied form of attention

The workshop offers a space where crafting, material, and attention come together in a simple and direct way.
